40. Sometimes it’s a lazy morning

I like morning paintings. This is a doodle of the morning, done at night. I just wanted to practice people, no other reason. Been doing animals for a while, but people are more intriguing–more to consider: the mood; what’s in the house; or what’s outside; and what are they doing. I try to work from scratch with no reference, I just go after the feel of proportion. This felt like it worked. Perspective was not carefully plotted out, I was just capturing an idea.
