A croak and a roar popped out of my iPad last night. The croak came first, in the spirit of a rather complex, geometric-looking frog.
The roar came second. I think he was complaining about all the time the frog took to materialize. The lion was quite simple.
Below is the framework that imagined the lion. It was almost immediate, and was made of simple shapes. The frog took much longer to see (more shapes). Below is the random pile of outlines the lion emerged from. It sprang from one simple oval shape, one rectangle, and one straight forward triangle.
The frog came from a thicker pile of random outlines that disappeared in creating him. That’s because I work on top of a pile of lines without benefit of layers. I don’t plan ahead, but saved the lion’s framework, because I was surprised it came about so quickly and wanted to capture the moment. The lion could as easily have been a mouse, but the lion won.
Infinity accounts for the never ending ideas that make up thought. I am always amazed at nature’s utter simplicity–and its intricate complexity.
