Book One
At the left is an excerpt from the book: These are five small tricks, called removals that help to manage negative/positive space, as foregrounds interplay with backgrounds.
Also, introduced are the eight compositional devices, which are the backbone of The Design Code® Process.
When illustrations are limited to one subject, such as an apple, the creative principle of “variation on a theme” takes over. Each concept becomes a visual problem to solve, which stretches the creative muscle. Concepts are shown geometrically, as well as realistically.
